Beata Pawlikowska  - writer, traveller, journalist

Author of several books, including the first book by a Polish author published by National Geographic. Independent traveller, who loves to go back to the jungles of South America where lives with the Indians. Her travel experiences include Africa, both Americas, Asia and Europe, from the Himalayas, through wild savannas, jungles and oceans. Also an experienced organizer and guide of expeditions.

Beata Pawlikowska hosts her own radio show "The World According to a Blonde" on Radio Zet, one of the biggest national radio stations in Poland. In the show news and stories from around the globe are completed with stories of her own travels and adventures. Beata Pawlikowska has broadcasted the first live radio reports from the heart of the Amazon jungle to radio stations in Poland.

Beata Pawlikowska received many awards for her achievements as an author, journalist and radio personality, among them the prestigious „Amber Butterfly” awarded to the best travel book of the year.

She was also elected the „No. 1 Radio Personality – Winners of the Air 2003” in Poland, while her radio show was awarded as the best radio show in Poland.

Beata Pawlikowska is also a photographer and a weekly columnist for Poznan Newspaper, Łódź Daily, Wrocław Daily, Pomerania Newspaper. She writes also for National Geographic, Podróże (travel magazine) and other magazines.

A frequent guest on Polish television, Beata Pawlikowska also hosted two series of a tv travel reality show. Respected as a travel authority, lately she has also broadened her image, having written a bestselling book "In the Jungle of Life", explaining all she knows about life, pursuing one's dreams and achieving happinness. "Life - she writes - is the most important journey and our biggest responsibility is to plan it well".
